Worker managers of the Hungarian National Iron Casting Works assign a party responsibility to the young widow Mrs. Szabó, the excellent worker and distinguished mother, member of the factory committee and party organisation: she has to put the badly organised, female, human and production conflicts ridden seed production plant in order.
