englanti An utterly botched film that should be rated as not suitable for children in an effort to cultivate their tastes. It has a terrible script and execution. A complete degeneration of the original idea of the literary "The NeverEnding Story." If Michael Ende, as the author, had serious reservations about the above-average first film, then this impressive mess most likely brought him to his grave, as he died a few months after its premiere. Overall impression: 5%. ()

englanti This is really bad. The story itself is pathetic, but here no one understood the magic of the first film. It's a farce with fairytale scenery that takes place in the contemporary world. Recognizing young Jack Black is not a victory. But that's not the whole cringeworthy movie that incredibly naively tries to evoke emotions. ()

englanti This is so bad I wouldn't even include it in our Vomit Screen film club program, which focuses on the worst B-movies. The creators of this shite should be served as an appetizer to the Rockbiter. ()

englanti This is a horrible sequel that has lost any shred of judgement. The Child Empress is played by a twenty-year-old, and the original inhabitants of Fantasia more closely match the character designs of the later animated series. Even the antiquarian Coriander was suspended as a librarian in the school. Pointless pop culture references, unnecessary shopping mall scenes... Weak, very weak. Unfortunately, Ende lived to see it.
