Part-Time Cops

We return after many years to look at a pair (now there are three of them) of super clever and not so honest Parisian cops. It isn’t at all boring, even third time round, and this youngest brother in the series is certainly no disgrace. Sure, basically this is just a repeat performance of the “gold old methods" used in the previous movies, but that is what makes watching this so pleasant. In any case, this is has an air of nineteen eighties nostalgia about it, and it relies on the fact that you already have a very positive opinion of the preceding episodes. If you don’t, then this movie doesn’t really stand up on its own. (22.12.2004)
