Just Like at Home

Novák András's grandfather was an American immigrant, who went to the US at the turn of the century. András's father was born there, but came home. After his scholarship was over, András stayed in the US, but he could not adapt. When he returns home, he realises that he lost his wife, his mistress, his job and his friends. A callous man, he passionately tries to find himself, a partner and a home. After a series of failures he meets Zsuzsi, daughter of a country family with seven kids, who will by no means part with her poodle. Through her hunger for love and his rootlessness the deepest and purest friendship is formed between them, which even Anna, András's ex-sweetheart cannot turn into the usual father-child relationship.
