A Romanian short-story film that deals with Ion Agârbiceanu and The Stone Wedding (1972). Mirza is about the attempt to retrieve gold from the mountains for the hand of an unmarried daughter, and The Chest is reminiscent of the classic fable about Pandora's Box. Formally, however, it is all so self-absorbed that it is impossible to overcome the lack of oxygen in the higher spheres.
