Robert Sacchi stars as Inspector Pontaine. Pontaine is investigating a seemingly open-and-shut case of a prostitute's murder, with the prime suspect a small-time jewel thief named Antoine Gottvalles (Pietro Martellanza). Gottvalles is convicted and sentenced to death, but vows to revenge his wrongful execution from beyond the grave.
