Rouzbeh arrives in Prague, far from family issues in Tehran, and immerses himself in the search for the past of his father, a communist exile who once lived in socialist Czechoslovakia. While visiting the apartment where his father had lived 50 years ago, he is stopped by the police, who are currently investigating a new case. The tenant fell out of the window here, and his last name matches Rouzbeh’s. This cannot be a coincidence, and Rouzbeh is thus confronted with the existence of his half-brother Vladimir. Established Iranian actor Ali Mosaffa has made a film in Czechia about a character who searches for his father's past in Prague and discovers that his dad not only had some family secrets, but may well have done some nasty things for the Communist Party. The narration may be a bit heavy-handed, but I have to give at least some credit to the film, because it managed to keep my attention and hunger for explanation with its mystery.
