FAMU in Cinema 03

Five short films present the work of talented filmmakers from various genres. Animated film is represented by the multi-awarded Love, Dad, which reveals a long-unsolved problem between a daughter and a father. The uniqueness and difficulties of the sibling bond is told in Sisters. The documentary The Adam Basma Project follows in an engaging way the footsteps of an important Lebanese dancer who set out to find his true essence despite social conventions. The premiere of the feature film Con Spiro tells the story of a mother and two sons, how in times of need and uncertainty we easily fall for paranoid ideas about the system that controls us. The film Vinland draws you into the work environment of illegal immigrants who leave their homeland with the prospect of better earnings in Prague. (Finále Plzeň)
