Bark!

The only real advantage of this film is its quirkiness and the awareness that if a screenwriter came up with something similar in a major studio, they would be kicked out, and then go sip his sorrows away in a café. As a temporary escape and deviation from the mainstream, it's good, but there's nothing deeper to be found in it. It's simply a bizarre romp with a few decent actors and a handful of working dialogues. Overall impression: 50%. (29.12.2007)
