This movie isn’t badly filmed or acted, nor is the screenplay the worst ever. It’s just that it’s terribly mediocre, with nothing new or original; just the same thing we have seen a hundred times before. Obviously this is a project close to John Leguizamo’s heart (judging by the fact that he is credited as director, producer and screenwriter, and plays the main role) and something that was well-handled, but, to tell the truth, it seems to me to be an utterly superfluous movie.
