Marvel Cinematic Universen seuraava elokuva Ant Man and The Wasp avaa uuden lehden ällistyttävän kutistumiskyvyn omaavien sankarien elämään. Elokuvan Captain America: Civil War tapahtumien jälkimainingeissa Scott Lang joutuu kamppailemaan tekemiensä valintojen seurausten kanssa halutessaan olla samaan aikaan sekä supersankari että isä. Hänen yrittäessään tasapainoilla perhe-elämänsä ja Ant-Manin velvollisuuksien välillä Hope van Dyne ja tri Hank Pym tarjoavat hänelle uutta, kiireistä tehtävää.
