englanti Bridge over the Elbe is such a stupid film that I'm tempted to give The Inglorious Bastards a star. Judge for yourself - I can tolerate that all the characters (Americans, Germans, Polish) speak Italian. But the fact that all the characters also understand each other with absolute certainty, and that the Germans do speak German in one scene, was worse. Just like the fact that the German soldiers acted like they had a pound of sauerkraut in their heads. To all this I have to add moments on the edge (or beyond) of parody - an American paratrooper jumps behind enemy lines with his favorite rooster (yes!) Adolf hiding under his jacket, after the death of one of the characters, another character utters in a serious tone "Only I knew he was epileptic".... And so on. Yes, I know it's a simple, unpretentious war spaghetti (and I like spaghetti), but still... It’s too bad. Pros: Definitely the music (great trumpeter Michele Lacerenza) and the charismatic German villain, who unfortunately didn't get much space. I think that's all. ()
