African Motorcycle Diaries

Follow adventure motorcyclist Spencer Conway as he takes on the biggest challenge of his life - circumnavigating Africa on his motorcycle. Spencer will be travelling through 34 countries, encountering deserts, jungles and a near-fatal shooting. Starting at the north of Africa, Spencer rides through Egypt, Sudan and Ethiopia, but soon runs into trouble when he loses his convoy in Kenya. He then heads to Arusha in Tanzania, visiting the Ngorongoro Crater Nature Reserve where he encounters elephants, hippos and hyenas. Spencer reaches the Democratic Republic of Congo on his birthday, which he celebrates by sleeping on a table crawling with cockroaches. Happy birthday Spencer! (Travel Channel)
