Women Do Cry

Several women from one family are confronted with hardship and trauma which typically stem from the way they are treated by men and, in turn, by the whole of society. Whether it’s a case of having to deal with the stigma of HIV or suicidal thoughts on maternity leave, Vesela Kazakova, together with Mina Mileva and the entire collective, offers an explosive drama as a searing indictment of patriarchal values and their impact on the lives of women in contemporary Bulgaria.
