The Possession of Nurse Sherri is an Ed Woodian flick without an insufficient amount of nudity and violence. I wouldn’t even call it exploitation. It’s supposed to play out on a dramatic plot with numerous conversations and it thus has few attractions. And even when there are some, they’re done with ridiculous visual effects, comically stiff actors and unbelievably dull directing. The highlight is the long, most boring car chase you have ever seen in a movie.

For my money, the American horror film Nurse Sherri is the kind of B-movie gem that, when a fan finds it, can make them happy, whether it's because it's pleasantly bizarre, or because it has some pretty explicit nudity, even if it's only topless nudity. It seems to take a little bit from Herschell Gordon Lewis, but not too much, simply the right amount. I had fun watching it.
