Ultimately, if anything deserves five stars from me in anime season Spring 2021, it is that this anime series that really works and totally delivers is seemingly unremarkable. It is a great conversational show with lots of interesting and entertaining dialogue. I think that if you give it a chance, it still really draws you in (I agree with the criticism that it can be too verbose for some people, however, I think it really does have something to say). It is a compelling mystery with tons of suspense, it is not very predictable, and the final denouement is really surprising and makes you wish the final episode went on a bit longer. This anime series is a great examination of society that skillfully depicts where addiction can lead a person really well, the desire for fame, and the desire for love, ... I have not seen an anime series with so many well-rounded stories of everyday life in one anime series for a really long time. Each of these stories have a solid concept and are logically thought-out. This is an entertaining show full of memorable moments, like Yano rapping or Capoeira, and also a show where even the weirdest peculiarities, like why they are all animals, have a good explanation. I really enjoyed this great crime thriller-style. The main protagonist is wonderfully sarcastic yet has an irresistible charm, and there are many other unforgettable characters. The show has a really distinctive visual style and a simply wonderful soundtrack. Add an absolutely superb atmosphere that makes you feel good and on the edge of your seat, itching to see the next episode as soon as you can, and have a truly unique experience. This is an anime series where even the weird name makes sense. I am awarding this 9.5/10. (28.06.2021)
