Antonio Riestra

Antonio Riestra is an award-winning cinematographer whose career extends from North America to Europe. Riestra has forged an international career with a notable range of feature films, from the Czech Republic's Lidice, Czech-Made Man and Normal the Düsseldorf Ripper, to the Spanish-produced Kathmandu Lullaby (which was filmed in Nepal) and the U.S. feature Look of Love, starring Annette Bening and Ed Harris. 

Riestra's cinematography for Augustí Villaronga's Black Bread (Spain's official entry for the 84th Academy Awards®) earned a Goya Award and a Gaudí Award for Best Cinematography. Additionally, Riestra has shot several international commercial campaigns for such companies as Dodge, Fiat, Kodak and Fujifilm. He is a member of the Mexican Society of Cinematographers (AMC), the European Film Academy and the Catalan Film Academy.
