He graduated in 2003 with a thesis on Orson Welles, and worked as a film critic on various websites, until in 2013, together with other colleagues, he founded the magazine Quinlan.it. He had other jobs (librarian, bookstore clerk, day and night porter), and his obsession with film led him to compulsively write screenplays. Two of them became episodes of the series Rex, directed by the Manetti brothers. He was also camera assistant for Il palazzo, which premiered at the 2021 Venice Film festival. A Claustrocinephilia is his directorial debut.
