Ēvalds Lācis

Evalds Lacis (1974) is a Latvian cameraman, animator, screenwriter and director. He graduated in cinematography from the Latvian Cultural Academy. He's worked for a long time at the AB film studio (Animacijas Brigade) in Riga. He made his debut as a director with the animated short film The New Species (Jauna Suga, 2008). He further made the short films Ice Master (Ledus Pavelnieks, 2009) and Hedgehogs and the City (Ezi un Lielpilseta, 2012).
