Born and raised in Los Angeles, Brandon Mychal Smith started his acting career at a young age starring in the likes of Gridiron Gang and The Shield. He’s also been a series regular on NBC’s sitcom One Big Happy and Viacom’s Sweet/Vicious, while in the feature space having scene stealing performances in films such as The Most Hated Woman in America and Dirty Grandpa. He voices the role of “Michelangelo” in the Nickelodeon animated franchise Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Brandon also starred in the Hulu original series Four Weddings and a Funeral. He is well known for his scene stealing performances as the fearless “Sam Dresden” in the FX series You’re the Worst having coined the phrase “New phone, Who dis?” as well as his brilliant portrayal of “Little Richard” in Imagine Entertainment's James Brown biopic Get On Up for Universal. Outside of acting Smith is also a talented singer/rapper, dancer and personality having guest hosted a plethora of programs and award shows.
