Martha Reyes Arias

She began her career as a theater actress in Guadalajara, while participating in audiovisual projects with a presence at national and international film festivals. She also ventured into creating voices for animated characters. She was nominated for the 2021 Ariel Award for Best Actress from the Mexican Academy of Film Arts and Sciences (AMACC) and received the Mezcal Award for Best Actress at the 35th FICG for Los Lobos, by Samuel Kishi Leopo. She has a degree in Performing Arts for Theatrical Expression from the University of Guadalajara. In 2014 she was selected as Alumni Talents Guadalajara sixth edition, in the category of acting at the 29th FICG. She has taken acting workshops for theater and film with teachers such as Jean-Louis Rodrigue, Damián Alcázar, Karina Gidi, Hugo Arrevillaga, and Claudio Valdés Kuri, among others.
