Agustín Banchero has a degree in Filmmaking from the Film School of Uruguay. He has written and directed the short films De las casas blancas (Of the White Houses), released nationally in early 2013 and screened among others at the LLAFF in London, Zinebi in Bilbao, the Distrital Festival in Mexico and the World Cinema Festival in Amsterdam, and Las pérdidas (The Losses, 2015), screened at the Malba Festival in Buenos Aires. Las vacaciones de Hilda (Hilda’s Short Summer) is his first feature.
