Yenni Lee is a film- and music video director born to Vietnamese parents who were boat refugees after the fall of the Vietnam War in the early 80’s. Her parents fled to sea not knowing if they were going to survive. Later, they were picked up by a Norwegian cargo ship and was welcomed to the small town Kongsvinger in Norway where Lee was born and raised.
