Isaías Griñolo

Biografia

He is a visual artist, filmmaker and exhibition curator. He lives and works in Seville. He studied on the UNIA arteypensamiento programme at the Universidad Internacional de Andalucía. He is part of the PRPC (Platform for Reflection on Cultural Policies) in Seville. Since 2011, with the collaboration of a group of poets linked to the conference Voces del Extremo (Moguer, Huelva), he is developing the multidisciplinary project historia_contemporánea. Between 2012 and 2016, along with the singer Niño de Elche and the poet Antonio Orihuela, he formed Los Flamencos, a work group with which they develop the project Cantes tóxicos. He is the author of numerous filmic essays and live cinemas which have been seen in art centres such as the Pompidou, Secession in Vienna, the MNCARS, the Fundació Tàpies, the CA2M in Madrid, Tabakalera and the Centre del Carme in Valencia, among others.
