Biografia

Lucas H. Rossi is a 25 years old Brazilian director, scriptwriter, and producer working in Rio de Janeiro. He’s a producer of feature films such as the documentary How Do You See Me? (Felipe Bond/2017), Kabadio – O tempo não tem pressa, anda descalço (Daniel Leite/2016) and Canastra Suja (Caio Sóh, 2017), as well as various award-winning short films like Ao Final da Conversa Eles se Despedem com um Abraço (Renan Brandão, 2017). In 2017 he produced the two films from acclaimed Brazilian filmmaker Eduardo Morotó, his short film Repulsa (2017) and Morotó’s debut feature film, A Morte Habita à Noite, which was released in 2020. O Vestido de Myriam (The Dress of M yriam) was his first narrative short film as a director, in 2017, for which he has won the Best Director award at the Rio de Janeiro International Short Film Festival and Best Short Film at the Los Angeles Brazilian Film Festival, while the film’s career counts no less than international 90 festivals to date.  Lucas H. Rossi’s first feature is a documentary about legendary Brazilian actor Grande Othelo.
