Joachim Trier

Joachim Trier (b. 1974, Copenhagen) graduated from Britain’s National Film and Television School in 2000. He gained renown as a creator of short films, three of which – Procter (2002), Pieta (2000) and Still (2000) – were presented at more than 30 international film festivals and won numerous awards, including the prestigious Prix UIP and Kodak Short Film Bureau Award for best British and European short, which Procter won in 2002 at the Edinburgh festival.
