Beatriz Bodegas

Beatriz began her professional career in the Sogecable group, where she worked as Business and Legal Director on films such as The Others, The Sea Inside and Intact. She directed the Film Production Area at Warner Bros for five years and as such participated in The Orphanage and Pan’s Labyrinth among others. In 2010 she set up her own production company, La Canica Films, dedicated to making quality films and a with firm commitment to new talents. Along these lines, she has produced Bakery in Brooklyn, La Vida Inesperada, Matar el tiempo, DiDi Hollywood and Raúl Arévalo’s breakthrough film The Fury of a Patient Man, winner of 4 Goya awards.
