Gabriel García Moreno

Director, producer and screenwriter. He directed three of the first feature films in the history of Mexican cinema. As a young man he was a projectionist. When he was 30 years old he founded, with the help of his wife Hortensia Valencia and a group of businessmen, the Cinematographic Cultural Center of Orizaba, Veracruz. Known for his films El Tren Fantasma (1926) and El Puño de Hierro (1927).
