Ali Alvarez

Director, screenwriter and producer. Born in Mexico, she grew up in Los Angeles and lives in London. She studied advertising at the Art Center in Pasadena. She worked for years in advertising as a creative director. Owner of the production company Mariposa Productions. In 2009 she made her first short film "I Voted Today", which won Best Documentary at the Portobello Film Festival in London. "Death Is Life" is her first feature-length film.
