Biografia

Billy Weber is an Academy Award-nominated editor, having collaborated with such esteemed directors as Terrence Malik, Tony Scott, Walter Hill, Martin Brest and Tim Burton, among many others. He edited "Days Of Heaven," "The Warriors," "Pee Wee's Big Adventure," "Beverly Hills Cop II," "Midnight Run," "Grumpier Old Men," "The Thin Red Line," "Miss Congeniality," "Nacho Libre" and Terrence Malik's "Tree Of Life," among many others. He worked previously with Tom Cruise when he edited "Top Gun" and "Days Of Thunder" for Director Tony Scott.

Weber has been nominated twice for an Academy Award for his editing of "Top Gun" and "The Thin Red Line." He got his start in editing on the low budget feature, "Messiah Of Evil," which led to him being an assistant editor on "Badlands," directed by Terrence Malik. The two have been collaborators ever since. Weber has also directed, helming 2nd unit for Tim Burton's "Batman Returns," and "Josh & S.A.M."
