DARYA EMELYANOVA was born in theatrical family. In 2009 she graduated from Saint Petersburg State Theatre Arts Academy. During her student years Emelianova worked as Assistant Director at Lenfilm studio and Lennauchfilm studio. Her student works – short documentary film were screened and awarded both in Russian and abroad. Among her films: "Desire to live" (2007), "Artsutanov's Lift" (2009), etc. Emilianova also works in the fields of art media, as well as engages in animation and theatrical projects. Cardboard Man (2004) is her live action debut.
