Soyeon Kim

Kim Soyeon is an animator and director from South Korea. She studied painting. She works in advertising and making films based on strong visualities and experimental tendencies. She enjoys creating various styles and textures using various painting techniques, which she then transforms into animation. She currently lives in Northern California, where (among other things) she teaches film and animation at California State University Monterey Bay and is working on international projects at her own studio Yellowshed.
