Mateo Bendesky studied filmmaking at the Universidad del Cine (FUC) in Buenos Aires, graduating in 2011. Since 2010, he coordinates the Special Projects area of Los Inrockuptibles, the Argentine branch of the French publication. He is also a teacher at his alma mater. His first feature In here (2013) took part in the official competition of e.g. Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival (BAFICI). In 2016, Bendensky was selected as a participant of the TIFF Talent Lab and received a Bicentenary Fellowship with which he shot his short film Together alone (2017).
