Jairo Pinilla

Jairo Pinilla is the only Columbian director who has devoted his career to fantastic and horror cinema. His ambitious and, at the same time, innocent way of making movies omitting the basic and traditional rules of storytelling, his rudimentary style full of his amazing and outrageous stories about mad scientists, islands with treasures and monsters or aliens, all bring him unconsciously closer to B movies.
