Jean Beaudry

Jean Beaudry (1947) is a Canadian screenwriter, director, and actor. He shot his first two feature-length films Jacques and November (Jacques et novembre 1984) and Unfaithful Mornings (Les matins infidèles, 1988) together with filmmaker  Francois Bouvier, with whom he had previously filmed documentaries. He then independently directed the family films The Case of the Witch Who Wasn't (Pas de répit pour Mélanie, 1990) and The Clean Machine (Tirelire Combines & Cie, 1992), and the drama A Cry in the Night (Le cri de la nuit, 1996).
