Biografia
Bas Devos (b. 1983, Zoersel, Belgium) has written and directed four short films – Taurus (2005), Pillar (2006), The Close (2007) and We Know (2009). Violet is the director's first feature and he also takes writing credits. The film saw its world premiere at this year's IFF in Berlin in the Generation section. Devos also works in theater as a director and lighting technician. At present he is working on his next film, Animal Language.
