Jo Sol (Barcelona, 1968) began his activity as a screenwriter and audiovisual producer in the late eighties. Concentrating on the field of visual anthropology, he developed different free-format essay productions in India, Cuba and Mexico. Having directed numerous short films, in 2000 he premiered his first feature film, Tatawo, distributed in Korea and the USA with the title of Tattoo Bar. He has made documentary and fictional features of a marked socio-political nature, such as El taxista ful (Zabaltegi, 2005) and Fake Orgasm (2010).
