I can’t help it. Banderas is great in the role, the action scenes are good, suspenseful and imaginative, Goldsmith's music is gorgeous. The 13th Warrior scared and entertained me as a kid and it still does today. Above-par.

I fell in love with this show after the first two episodes and the next ones get better, better, and better. In short, a big bang as it should be. "Hello, this is Dr. Sheldon Cooper, Yeah, I need to cancel my membership to the planetarium. There's just no room for you in my wallet. No, I understand, but it was between you and the Museum of Natural History, and frankly, you don't have dinosaurs."

For the first time in a long time, a romantic film with a decent idea. You mustn't tinker too much with time travel or you'll go crazy in seconds, but who cares? The perfect film for men and women. Men would also return to Rachel McAdams endlessly, and women would wait a lifetime for travelers like Eric Bana, just like Claire... This was another film that touched me.

What should I write here? The lieutenant is a legend - him and everything that comes with him. His car, his dog named Dog, his wife who no one has ever seen, his first name that no one knows, his battered Peugeot... All of this contrasts with Columbo's brain being more powerful than NASA's computers. The guy is simply a knockout, not to be underestimated. "Uh, sorry, I forgot... It's such a small thing, but it keeps me awake. Purely for the paperwork, you understand? Yeah, what did I..."

I actually liked it. The beauty of the desert captured by beautiful cinematography, beautiful animals, beautiful music… Yeah, a lot of beautiful things. Plus a likeable cast and a script that, although clichéd, is at least suspenseful. Another pop-corn flick by Johnson.

Definitely the best film with Pierre Richard. Even though it was probably not easy to work with the drinking Depardieu, the two were a perfect match and Francis Veber was able to use their talents with his own inventiveness. There are many scenes in La Chevre that make me scream with laughter every time. The one with the gorilla (which a suspiciously large number of people do not find funny) is only one of them.

If James Franco had been a bit more likeable and hadn't given me the impression of a pretentious guy in the first place, I would probably like Flyboys a bit more. Nevertheless, it is still a simple but decently made film with excellent fight scenes, which I - thankfully - enjoyed in the movie theater. Jean Reno is perfect, and I have to praise the choice of actors for the roles of the other pilots - a very good line-up. Even the "main German" was good.

An absolute mess-up of everything. Please don’t get mad, but I was so incredibly unamused by this movie that it also made me incredibly angry. It's not even a little bit suspenseful, all the scenes - war, "plot" (?) or murder - are filmed in such a way that you just can't get interested. The Hannibal character is a chapter in itself - an unsympathetic jerk who alternates between two expressions, i.e., wannabe angry and awkwardly broody. Plus, I don't understand, I really don't, that the script could have been written directly by Thomas Harris. The only thing that saved Hannibal Rising from being a waste was the music, which was co-written by my favorite madman, Ilan Eshkeri. Otherwise, yuck and gross. When the film is based on shots of bloody blades, disemboweled entrails and other scenes from a butcher shop, and when you see all that but still don't enjoy it... Something's wrong.

A first class historical drama with great performances. If you know a bit of English history, you can't give less than four stars.

Brendan, Brendan... Another screwup. You'd think Jules Verne would never turn over in his grave more than after the latest adaptation of “Around the World in 80 Days”. This is just too much.
