Tank Girl (1995) BOO!

englanti The sympathetic efforts to make the worst comic book adaptation missed the mark because I can't remember worse films of this kind than Vampirella and Barb Wire. However, coming in third place is not to be dismissed, and I will remember this movie whenever I need to encourage my gag reflex. Nevertheless, it proves that a comic book movie can be made very cheaply. Overall impression: 5%.

Famille Pirate (1999) (sarja) BOO!

englanti I'm not sure what's worse about this film - whether it's the terrifying animation, dreadful artistic execution, or stupid script and dreadful dubbing. In the end, I was truly ashamed when I caught my daughter watching this series because it was evidence of my parenting failure. I need to keep my child engaged so they don't have the opportunity to spoil their taste in such a straightforward manner. Overall impression: 10%.

American Pie Presents: Beta House (2007) BOO!

englanti The majority of people know this scenario: they come to a party where everyone is already at a certain level of alcohol intoxication and jokes are being told that everyone finds extremely funny, but if you are sober and not in the party mood, you perceive them as incredibly awkward. This film cannot even be consumed sober and without a forgiving mood given how unbelievably dull and cheap it is. It has distanced itself even further from the original version toward absolute simplicity, so it's best to use it as a backdrop for a party where a group of enthusiastic teenagers of both genders gathers. Overall impression: 0% (unfortunately, I wasn't at the party).

Rocky 4 (1985) BOO!

englanti With the fourth installment, the series of Rocky Balboa films has moved from films that bypass me thematically to the category of films that, pardon my French, piss me off. It is rare to see this sort of stupid propagandistic film. There are propagandistic works that have quality directing, polished screenplays, and excellent casts and performances, but Rocky IV has none of that. If I had to look at this matter objectively, I would have to be squatting on Jupiter. Overall impression: 10% (for Gorbachev with the large red spot on his head).

Days of Our Lives (1965) (sarja) BOO!

englanti It is certainly not the flagship of soap operas, but in a way, it's fascinating how long the series has managed to stay on the air. It has nothing to do with quality, rather it's an interesting subject for sociological research... My impression is zero.

Trouble Every Day (2001) BOO!

englanti Yes, I'm incorrigible. I waste money my whole life and invest it in useless things, but in this case, the loss of about two dollars was particularly painful. I should have given it to beggars at the station. A completely mishandled film with a miserable script that is uninteresting, stupid, and tasteless. Overall impression: 5%.

Blanche (2002) BOO!

englanti I assume that it did not take a long time to find a suicide victim who was tough enough to direct such a despicable film. The screenwriter was probably tasked with writing a screenplay where absolutely everything happens, and with a large dose of hallucinogens in his blood, he more or less succeeded, resulting in a strange, unbelievably stupid film where characters from Dumas' novels, drug dealers, and pseudo-heroes with various sexual perversions appear side by side. The dialogues are incredibly stupid, and I'm surprised the actors didn't get red in the face during them. The actors are the only interesting thing that Blanche has, but Jean Rochefort was probably so old that senility was starting to affect him, or he foolishly lost his lifelong savings and couldn't make ends meet with his pension... Gérard Depardieu probably needed to pay for one of his stays in rehab or weight loss, so their presence serves as a cover for this embarrassment, which is a waste of time even for lovers of the cheapest forms of entertainment... Overall impression: 5%.

Cesty mužů (1972) BOO!

englanti This film seems to have been made from a forgotten script abandoned in the early 50s... A typical product of the emerging normalization, a distasteful glorification of the secret police (STB), and the period of collectivization. One of the weakest films of its time... Overall impression 5%.

Hard Target (1993) BOO!

englanti A typical low-budget action spectacle filmed with the knowledge that the quality of dialogue is the last thing fans care about, and they won't bother questioning the logic of the story either... The script is as thin as concentration camp soup, and Lance Henriksen should settle his scores and limit visits to gambling dens, so he doesn't have to take gigs in these types of B-movies... Overall impression 10%. Fans of action movies can, of course, add a few stars because John Woo is simply good at making these films.

Devil's Rejects, The (2005) BOO!

englanti I apologize to the numerous community of Rob Zombie fans for often giving a Boo! rating to his work. It is only because the ratings are dangerously high, and an uninformed film fan could accidentally watch the movie. Similarly, I could have given any number of stars, and it would still have minimal informational value. Just like pornography, which, no matter what form it takes, is only about one thing and serves one purpose, and movies like The Devil's Rejects serve solely to elicit a certain type of emotion. Those who enthusiastically give four or five stars obviously have a good understanding of the film world and are aware of the film's minimal value in terms of traditional film values. Understanding the screenplay, observing camera work, editing, and acting performances – that's work for the seasoned. With one exception, and that is the soundtrack – which is understandable given Zombie's past. The actors are a separate chapter – but yes, this film does feature several actors... I pondered for a long time why they would get involved in something like this until I figured it out that they did it out of hunger! Only a terrible hunger on the brink of exhaustion could drive them to be part of something like this. In reality, Zombie's fans can recognize and appreciate the one thing that is worthy of admiration in his work – namely, the maximum undiluted, raw brutality in the smallest amount of space possible. We live in a difficult time full of neuroses, and The Devil's Rejects is a unique therapy for all those who can't afford to have their own torture chamber in the basement. It is truly expensive, believe me, I have calculated it countless times... Sometimes, however, even weaklings who hesitate to slap their mother can enjoy such creations, let alone break the neck of the scoundrel who bullies them... The overall impression for those who can release adrenaline differently should be zero... By the way, The Devil's Rejects has nothing in common with horror as a distinct genre. It is a tutorial for those who need to know how many square meters a human body splatters when run over by a truck or how much meat can be scraped off human limbs. Enjoy your meal!
