If someone had told me that Warcraft would hold the top spot in my top ten, I would have laughed at them. I haven't played the game, but I enjoyed every title, city, character or creature all the more, I watched the movie like a deer and devoured every second of it, which is a positive outcome. The visuals are top notch and even though there are only four major action scenes, they have a lot of oomph when accompanied by the amazing music, in short, it's something to watch. Ragnar fits here like a glove, and you watch Vikings you will be delighted. There's also decent dialogue, quite a few death characters, and great production design. Nothing to fault here, certainly the best fantasy film since the LoTR trilogy, and the best cinematic adaptation of a game (we'll see how Assassin Creed turns out). I can't wait to see how this saga grows into hopefully at least seven more installments. Cinema a must, subtitles a must. I left the cinema downright excited after a long time, saying to myself, I want to see this again. Story 7/10, Atmosphere 9/10, Gore 1/10, Visuals 10/10, Action 10/10, Suspense 8/10, Humor 6/10. Entertainment 10/10. 100%.

Slight disappointment. The Nice Guys is carried in a lovely retro style with a solid leading duo, though Ryan Gosling whines a bit too much like a little girl here, which bothered me at times, but thankfully Russel Crowe is properly tough and uncompromising. The action is very good, but it was unfortunately lacking, resulted in frequent deaf passages, and the film runs out of breath in the last 20 minutes. I found the film hardly funny at all and the dialogues between the leading couple hardly worked, lacking the right chemistry. I liked the light R-rated stuff and a couple of original scenes, but it could have been better. Add more action, a more interesting twist, speed up the pace and I would have been more satisfied. 65%

Mike Flanagan's efforts cannot be denied, but this year has not been kind to him. I simply don't like ghost stories and I can't enjoy them, and it’s hard at times to keep myself awake. On the plus side, there's Thomas Jane, the beautiful Kate Bosworth and up-and-coming young talent Jacob Tremblay, who gives a very convincing performance for a 9 year old. There are a few scares, but not a single one worked for me, which I consider a minus and it shows in the final rating. The central boogeyman has an original look, but the "finale" lacks punch, well it just doesn't have the balls. Probably good for fans of ghost stories, but for me it's an average film that I won't remember tomorrow. 55%

Another unnecessary and cheap Stephen King adaptation that wasn't even saved by Samuel L. Jackson, who has a weak moment (Big Game), not to mention John Cusack, whose career peak ended in 2003 with the excellent Identity. Cell had potential in a premised that remained untapped because who cares about zombie horror today without blood and make-up effects? No one. The film also suffers from poorer visuals and poor digital effects, the action is sparse and there is only boredom, disappointment, annoyance and a bitter taste in the mouth. Not recommended. 25%.

So 3 stars. Adam Sandler and James Spade are a good pair and there are a few laughs, but overall the film is quite boring and mostly looks cheap, which may turn some people off. I don't recommend it 50%

For an indie, it's a fine comedy. The most interesting thing is the premise, which is novel, and the orgy scenes are definitely the highlights of the film, although the filler around it is unfortunately not very funny anymore, but I had a pretty good time. 65%

Boring, tedious, cheaply made with minimal action and no gore, so it absolutely can't come out positive for me. I didn't find any connection with the actors, so I didn't care how the film turned out. 30%

A solid, intelligent and suspenseful thriller. Imagine your wife dies and a year from now on that day she calls you on the phone? And you have a unique chance to change your wife's future! From this point on, it's quite a gripping suspenseful ride full of interesting twists and turns, detective investigation and a decent denouement with one fight at the end. Surprise. 75%.

This film tries to play at being something more than it is, and that hurts it. I found the story both uninteresting and overcomplicated, but there were some positives. The villain is great, his constant smiling is powerfully provoking and the massacre in the hospital is a strong moment in the film. For a debut, the film is visually decent and doesn't bore too much, but it's not enough for 4*. 60%.

The biggest asset is the casting of solid comedians, but it seems to me that the film was only running at half throttle. I laughed a couple of times and wasn't bored, but given the premise and the actors a lot more could have been done – the attack on the kid and the dog were pretty over the top, though. 60%
