An imaginative and funny comedy whose triumph, apart from the excellent script, was the very cute Zooey Deschanel.

An average comedy, I can't see it any other way. Unfortunately, I don't like the kind of edgy humor that has you plumbing the depths of vulgarity and perversity, and overall Mr. Smith's sense of humor just doesn't suit me. There is a lack of intelligent wit and romance and as a drama I find it pretty worthless.

Maybe a bit of a "sleazy" fairy tale, but a funny one at that, and with Anne Hathaway to boot. But it is lacking a better story, imagination, and an aesthetic improvement...

A fantastic pairing of Sandler and Barrymore in a pretty good movie with a pretty good subject. Somewhere in the beginning of the movie I realized I was having a really good time and by the end I realized I had actually shed a tear... this is what a romantic comedy is supposed to look like.

I love this genre and when someone is good with numbers... and is above average smart, calculating, and uses it to their advantage. Overall though, the film felt too American and dealt with unnecessary human emotions more than the casino. Otherwise, a pleasant diversion...

Unfortunately this rather didn’t work, I mean didn’t work one bit, it was such a wannabe "Potter". It didn't have that magical atmosphere, the magic effects didn't come through, the main character wasn't that good, and overall it was nothing more than Harry Potter warmed over. If it could have been so easy to imitate Harry, I think J.K. Rowling wouldn't be one of the richest women in the world. So, if I squint real hard, I can give it one star and tuck the DVD into the "For the Kids" section.

Any girl who likes fashion and shopping has to love this movie. I'm one of them, and I often come across as a shopaholic too. The movie was pretty colorful, sweetly funny, and slightly romantic. Isla Fisher was really charming and I look forward to seeing another movie with her!

Great family comedy with the wonderful Rock and the adorable Madison Pettis. I laughed and cried too. Nice stuff (furnishings, etc.), which was nice to look at. The final dance was divine!

Dance creations? Nice. The story? Cinderella. Overall impression? A children's film. Better than Hannah Montana, worse than A Cinderella Story. But little girls must be excited about it.

An excellent piece of work, made all the better for being so short. After a while I was even wishing the film had been longer. And the "real camera" shots are really cool.
