Film o filmu: Sapfó (2008)

englanti They have enthusiasm, but like director Crombie, producer Nikov hasn't convinced me that their film has achieved their expectations. Beautiful locations aren’t everything. Moreover, the linguistic inconsistency does not give Midu a good name. The quality of the DVD is only balanced by the existence of a good music video, which is ultimately better than the main film.

Sappho (2008)

englanti The basic assets were good to great. However, the result is an amateurish balancing act between soft porn and a pseudo-probe into the life of a would-be reincarnated Sappho. It’s boring. Add to that shoddy set design, poor editing, the impossibility of use of minimal musical themes, and one soundtrack worse than the other, then it all amounts to a disaster.

Annetaan palaa! (2009)

englanti This is so hysterical that it's good. Well, not in a serious sense. I’m giving it a better review for the excellent tribute to Bring it On and Kirsten Dunst. The supporting roles also feature the fine self-parodying cameos of AnnaLynne McCord and Adhir Kalyana, who have enjoyed enough dramas enough in Nip/Tuck and now it's time for a change.

Kilimanjaron lumet (1952)

englanti A little classic Hollywood drama played out against the backdrop of this cheesy and almost indigestible film. Rising German star Hildegard Knef, appearing as Hildegarde Neff, played a small supporting role here as Countess Liz, who not only swims proficiently but also sculpts. This is actually how she enjoyed her American career. It was her second chance after turning down Selznick, who offered her a job under overly harsh conditions.

Seuraava päivä (1983) (TV elokuva)

englanti It’s a meaningful film, of course, but it’s not a solution and it doesn’t add any imaginary log to the fire. Having missed the 1980s showing on American or Russian TV, my view is more forgiving. I thus see The Day After only as an excursion into significant films that existed in the Czech consciousness before November 1989. Otherwise, I would have to go into a reflection on how naive it is to fight anything through film, let alone television.

Deadly Betrayal (2002) (TV elokuva)

englanti A solid little film, just right for midnight TV. And it actually stars Nicolette Sheridan. Not coincidentally, it’s very similar to the trio of Lifetime films with Victoria Pratt. Well, the Canadian television aspect is undeniable. ;)

Wildflower (1999)

englanti Asia Carrera is not my chosen one, and if she outshines guest Stacy, then so much worse for her. ;) Even so, I can recommend Wildflower to all fans of Asia, one of the elite XXX actresses who, even dressed, perform very well and playfully prove that if they switched to TV movies before 10 pm, they have better acting skills than many of the favorites of the Harlequin and Danielle Steel adaptations and still have something left in the tank. Overall, Wildflower is conceived as one big romance, and cutting out the hardcore scenes would have achieved a solid title for a completely different spectrum of viewers even without any other modifications.

Sex Commandos (1999)

englanti Stacy, take off the beret and I’ll give you five stars. I’m giving you this particular review because the filming was documented in The Girl Next Door and even though you were going through a breakup, it didn't affect the film at all... ;)

Amazing Sex Talk 3 (1999)

englanti Nikki Tyler is definitely more entertaining as a host than the whole Oprah thing. Otherwise, this is all recycled from Stacy’s Red Vibe Diaries: Object of Desire. In addition, Julien, Stacy's ex, appears as a guest on the talk show, but unfortunately, he's not as imminent as Misty Rain in the first one.

Sexy Nurses 3 (1998)

englanti After the dull second film, James Avalon comes up with an idea that you don't see all that often: The subconscious, the inconsistent perception of reality, Michael Toland's hallucinogenic music, bizarre shots of an IV with a hanging rubber band, and artificial human eyeballs. It stars the incomparable Stacy Valentine as Nurse J and Mark Davis as a disoriented patient.
