After 35 years of marriage, Ans and Chris try relational therapy to get closer to one another. But the worn paths and frustrations are persistent. For this documentary, Maasja Ooms got permission to attend their sessions, which consist of confrontations and attempts to reach each other. The one attacks, the other withdraws. The one wants to be seen, the other is completely unaware of doing anything wrong. 'I want to be put on that rack as well, if you know what I mean', Chris says, in an attempt to articulate his feelings. Ans is patient. 'We have time.' (Nederlands Film Festival)
