Since the death of his wife, Micah, an ambitious judge in the Israeli city of Be'er Scheva, has been taking care of his only son, Shai. When Shai flees the scene of a car accident, the consequences are fatal: not only has he made himself liable to prosecution, but his comatose victim also happens to be the son of a very influential criminal family, who view the crime as a direct attack.
