The Singapore Grip

For rubber baron Walter Blackett and his family, life in 1941 Singapore is one of wealth and privilege, the horrors of war-torn Europe a distant whisper. Blackett’s plans to consolidate his power are thrown into flux when his business partner, Mr Webb, is incapacitated, and his stake in the company could pass to his idealistic son, Matthew.
