Unsuccesful Actor

Piti is over fifty and along with seven friends he is looking back on his unsuccessful life as an actor which began when he was 18 years old. He now lives in 19 square meters in an attic flat in the centre of Madrid. His professional life as an actor never received much recognition but it is well-considered by his seven friends. His cinemagoing brother often asks him for autographs. “Success and failure are equally delusory”. “Unsuccessful Actor” talks about loneliness and the passing of time. Piti and his friends ask themselves “Who will change their incontinence pads when they are old?” Thirty years ago he was doing his military service, thirty years from now he’ll be frozen to death.
