Vera, Lara (and visas)

Vera and Lara are from Madrid and they are married. Vera is studying a Master’s in the United States; however, since same-sex marriage is not recognized by the US federal government, her wife Lara cannot get the visa that would allow her to live, legally and without worries, in the US while Vera finished her two-year program. This short documentary tells their story, and the story of many other couples. (Madrid International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival)
