In 2005 the NGO Asociación Cultural Visible started creating in Madrid a collection of gay (LGBT) themed art, with works donated by artist all over the world. The Colección Visible now counts more than a thousand works by over four hundred artists from thirty different countries, becoming one of the world’s biggest collections of its kind, looking for a exhibition space. The documentary narrates the story of how this project came to life when only seven years before it all seemed impossible, and now is looking for a “home” for this collection, a museum to house the collection stably and protect it from inclement weather and from historical and political vagaries.
