Nina of the Woods

Aspiring actress Nina has just accepted a somewhat strange gig. She’ll be providing authenticity as a local on a supernatural reality TV series, shooting its latest episode in her hometown. However, Nina, alongside her crew and guide, quickly learn they may have underestimated the location they’ve set to explore: an ancient, haunted forest with a hypnotic flowing force. What was supposed to be staged turns into a seemingly endless maze as the group fights off a powerful spell in the air. With compelling visuals and alluring storyline, Nina of the Woods, succeeds as a distinctive sci-fi thriller that delves outside the genre’s formulaic tendencies, providing an opportunity for greater reflection upon a number of essential, universal themes.
