"Moonshine Mountain" is a good step in what Herschell Gordon Lewis further portrayed in his work and what he focused on even in his relatively recent return to filmmaking. Moreover, he manages to create an environment that is truly bizarre, an environment in which you would not want to find yourself. It's just a shame that I had to see the film in very poor, overexposed quality where the details were lost.
